ABILITIES

 1. Friendly. I can considered that friendly is one of my abilities where I like to make new friends and I tend to approach new people. Even though I look arrogant and unapproachable person but the truth is I like to make new friends as I can know different types of person. For me having many friends is  advantages for us as we can strengthen our relationship with people especially in brotherhood in Islam who encouraged us to be together and build a strong ummah.

2. Baking. I like to bake especially cakes and cookies. This is because my mother and my sisters like to bake and I'm much influenced from them. To be honest, I like to eat and have abilities to bake is one of the happiness that I could not describe. I got recipes from my mother and all the recipes has been passed down from my grandmother. Ever since I know how to bake, my weight has increased but I never regret because I'm happy to bake and eat.

 
3. Planting. I could say that planting is my ability because my mum said that I have "tangan hijau" where every plants that I plant will grow. Basically, my mum will ask me to plant the flowers because every time she plants, the plants will die or did not grow. At first I have no idea about the "tangan hijau" but my mum believes that not everyone have ability that could make the plants grow healthily. Every time I see plants that I have plant grow healthily and successfully, I will get happy and excited especially when the plant produced lots of fruits

CONTRIBUTION

1. Last semester, my classmates and I have organized a program for orphanage where it is one of assessment in my one of my subject. I felt so happy and excited because we were giving the opportunity to organized such as a big program for 45 orphanage. I get the chance to know these special and noble children. Even though they are less lucky in this world but the status they have is so special in Islam. I felt so happy and this is my first experience in conducting this kind of program.

2. Second contribution that I have made throughout my time in IIUM is  a community service where we have distributed free mineral water to IIIUM students at the riverside where we were giving a message for the students to stay hydrated since nowadays the weather is quite hot. We were so happy that everyone seem grateful to have free mineral water.

3. This is my first time using google slides which I have to create a slide using the google slides about one topic related to Islam. The topic that I choose is exercise in Islam. This is slide that I have prepared.

4. Next,  I have interviewed some people about their own views about Jawi that nowadays has been forgot especially in Malays Muslim society. The usage of Jawi and the implementation of Jawi writing is no longer has emphasized in our community. This is one of my assignments that discuss about the Islamic elements that basically important for us and why this is happened.

5. As a guidance and counseling student, I need to conduct a counseling session which it is one of my assessments in counseling lab subject. I have advertised myself as a counseling student and provide them a free counseling session with me. Our aim is to help them solve their own problems using all the knowledge and skills that we have learnt in class. I think it is one of community service that i can give to community as providing them a way to solve their own problems. This is poster that I have made to encouraged and invite IIUM students to share their problem with me and helping them in dealing with their problem.

REFECTION ON FORUM: MUKJIZAT OF AL-QURAN

On 19^th November 2019, I have attended a forum Tadabbur on the topic of Mukjizat al-Quran. The speakers were ustaz Syaari Abd Rahman and Ustaz Abdullah Bukhari and Brother Ahmad Dinie Asyraf was the moderator in that forum. First of all, I am grateful and thankful that I was invited to join this forum because it provides a lots of information and knowledge that I did not know before this. The forum on Mukjizat of Al-Quran is a very informational forum which it discusses the miracle of Al-Quran which not everyone knows especially Muslim. As we all know, Al-Quran is the biggest miracle that Allah has given to us. As a Muslim, we strongly believe Al-Quran is a holy book where it is a word of Allah. Al-Quran is derived in Arabic. Ustaz Abdullah Bukhari share to us why Al-Quran is derived in Arabic and it is a new knowledge for me to know this. He said it is because the delivery of ayah is 100 percent in which the ayah can be fully understand using an Arabic word compared to other languages. He furthers share the reason why Al-Quran and prophets are Arabs is because Allah wants to guide the Arabs to become a better nation. Before this, the Arabs was the most ignorant and despicable nation but after Islam has arrived to them, they have become a successful nation. This proves that Al-Quran is very powerful as it can change a nation to a better one. Al-Quran is a manual guideline for its believers as it shows the right way to solve the problems and to be a better person. It has been stated in Surah Al-Hijr verse 9 that Allah will protect Al-Quran from any changes and it will be secured until the doomsday. Al-Quran is not like others holy books like Injil, Zabur and Taurat which their contents is not permenant and has changed by their followers. It truly shows that Al-Quran is the most supreme among all. The ustaz also share about the story of Maryam who has been depressed because of the accident that happened to her. This accident has been recorded and stated in Al-Quran which portrays that Allah recognized the suffer that Maryam experienced. Thus, there are ways to cope with depression which are first is to isolate from other people, then out from the negative environment, find a calm place that can peace our mind; ustaz said it better to find place that is close to nature and lastly to talk to someone who really understand you. From the forum, I have learnt so much things that really benefits me in the future. I believe this forum did benefit others as well.
